Gun Log 2.4

Apple corrected the "one star" review that was placed on Gun Log by mistake. Thanks to those that reviewed or said the erroneous review was "not helpful".

Please review Gun Log 2.4

I just checked and no one is reviewing the latest version of Gun Log.

There is one review that is "one star". But it is a mistake because the features mentioned are not features of Gun Log. If you click the reviewer's name link to see the other reviews you will see where he had reviewed a different range log application which does advertise the features that are complained that do not work. An honest mistake. But "one star" sure wipes out the Gun Log. Bad luck for me.

So, if you haven't reviewed the app, please do so. If you give it one star that is fine, just make sure you are giving one star to the right app! :-)

Gun Log 2.4

I just received notice that Gun Log 2.4 is approved and should be available shortly.

Gun Log version 2.4 contains new features in the areas of maintenance and firing sets.

In maintenance you can now easily indicate come tasks such as:
- Quick Clean
- Field Strip
- Detailed Strip
- Replaced Parts

In a firing set you can now:
- Take a picture of a target

The picture is stored in Gun Log as a JPEG image of medium quality. The high quality image remains in the standard location for the camera.

- The Date Picker now defaults to the current date.
- Better memory usage in low memory situations.
- Preparations for future feature releases.

Gun Log version 2.3 and 2.4

Tonight I released Gun Log 2.3 to the iTunes App Store. I immediately downloaded it and ran it. Unfortunately there was a problem. I removed it from the App Store immediately. However, some of you may have downloaded the update in that short interim. If so, please wait until version 2.4 releases. It typically takes two or three days to get an app reviewed.

If version 2.3 hangs just restart your iOS device. No data will be lost or anything like that. Version 2.4 does not loose data between versions 2.2 or 2.3. Sorry for the problem, I am correcting it as fast as possible.
